Abstract: This research seeks to reveal the levels of formation in the novel (The Game) by Youssef Al-Sayegh. The first level was manifested in the textual thresholds that were represented in the title and its communicative structure. While the problem of naturalization was manifested in the second level in the light of the theory of literary genres, as the novel (The Game) belongs to a novel genre, in which writing began since the eighties of the last century, and it is (the short novel), while the third level was manifested in it.Overlapping genres, as some arts overlapped in the novel, giving it more effectiveness in reading delivery, especially the dramatic/narrative overlap, and the cinematic/narrative overlap.
