يُناقش البحث الآراءَ العروضية التي وردتْ في كتاب (قضايا الشعر المعاصر) لنازك الملائكة ... فقد وجدتها تُضيّق الخناق على شعراء القصيدة الحرّة معتمدةً -غالباً- على ذوقها الخاص، وُتَسُنُّ لهم من القواعد ما تعتقد أنَّها ستوقفُ الأخطاء العروضية التي يقع فيها المبتدئون من الشعراء وغير المبتدئين من هذه القواعد: أنّها تحظر عليهم استخدام أكثر من ضربٍ في القصيدة الواحدة وتعيب عليهم إطالة الشطر الشعري بتكرار التفعيلة المستخدمة مرات عديدة يخرج -في زعمها- موسيقى القصيدة عن المألوف، وتمنع عليهم التدوير في القصيدة بصورة نهائية وتمنع تكرار زحاف (الخبن) في تفعلية (مستفعلن) كثيراً فإنَّ ذلك يخرج موسيقى القصيدة في زعمها عن المألوف، كما تمنع استخدام الوتد المجموع في التفاعيل التي تنتهي بها أكثر من المعتاد -وإن كُنّا لا نعرف ما المألوف والمعتاد في رأيها ... ومسائل أُخرى يراها القارئ مبثوثه في البحث ... واتَّبعتُ في ترتيب مفردات البحث الترتيب نفسه للموضوعات التي تحدَّثتْ عنها في كتابها (قضايا الشعر المعاصر) ... ووجدتُ من المناسب أنْ أتطرَّقَ في البدء ومن خلال ما ورد في كتابها إلى نشأة الشعر الحر، والارهاصات التي ساعدتْ على ظهوره، وإلى الشعراء الذين كتبوا قصائد حُرَّة قبل ظهوره عام ١٩٤٧ على يدها ويد بدر شاكر السياب، وناقشتُ - ومن خلال كتابها- مَنْ كان الأسبق منهما ... وطرحتُ سُؤالاً وجدتُ أنَّ المعنيين بالشعر، وتاريخ ظهوره قد أَهملوه وهو: كيف يَصُحُّ عقلاً أنْ يكتُبَ شاعران شعرا بمواصفات غير مسبوقة في شهر واحد وهما يدرسان في مكان واحد، ويقرأ كلُّ منهما شعر الآخر، ولا تكون لهما مرجعية معرفيَّة واحدة ساعدت على ظهوره؟
The research tackles the prosodic opinions in Nazek Al-Malaikah's "Issues in Contemporary Poetry". I have found her clamping down on free poem poets, depending - mostly - on her own taste, enacting rules for them thinking that that will stop the prosody mistakes that beginners and non-beginners in poetry commit. Of these rules are the following: they are prohibited from using more than one type in one poem and she denies elongating the poetic line by repeating (al tafeila) several times for, according to her, this departs from what is ordinary, she also forbids connecting stanzas and repeating the change of (alkhaban) in (you will do) a lot; she claims that that will make the music of the poem unusual. She also forbids (alwatad) in (al tafaeil) more than often though we do not know what is normal according to her besides other means the reader can notice in the research. I have followed, in the ordering of the search, the same order of the topics she mentions in her book (Contemporary Poetry Issues), and I have found that it is preferable at the very beginning to talk about, through what is mentioned in her book, the beginning of free poetry and the conditions that help its appearance and the poets who write free poetry before its appearance in 1947 under her and Bader Shaker Al- Sayyab's supervision. I have argued about, through her writings, who is the first. I have asked a question and have found that those concerned with I have asked a question and have found that those concerned with poetry have neglected it, which is: How does it work for two poets to write poetry with unprecedented characteristics in one month while they are studying in one place, and each of them reads the poetry of the other, and does not have an epistemological reference helps its existence?
